Thy Lord Said Unto You, You Got 60 Seconds.

I'm a christian (just not with a capital C) and am undoubtedly a friend of Jesus. However Skate contest led by 40-something year old men who know nothing about Skateboarding and use it as a tool to push God onto children who just want to skate doesn't sit right with me.

Photobucket
New glasses. Old Jewish man style. A cop told him to watch his language. The Pastor told him to turn his Huf Justin Brock 3-way shirt inside out. Live and let live.

Photobucket
New stickers look sick.

Photobucket
Good to know.

Bouncehouse!!!

Collisions.

This is at 1:45 in the afternoon. The contest hadn't started yet. I left these guys to push organized religion onto unsuspecting kids via Skateboarding. There truly are better ways to introduce kids to Christianity.

The Spot That Time Forgot.

For as long as I've known about this spot I've been trying to get someone to come get a photo on it.

Today was a triumphant day friends.

Thanks Ethan.

Check 2.

Photobucket
Just trying to feel the funk at this point.

Photobucket
Still feeling.

Photobucket
I was actually just driving at a stylish back tail I could get an artsy photo of. Ethan is the best. However we're not quite there yet.

Photobucket
That artsyness I spoke on earlier.

Photobucket
Ethan handled it.

This is really all I wanted. Just to shoot a photo at such a photogenic spot.

TPA Pro

I lied. Here's a Tampa Pro post. Just no skate photos. Or photos with anything but a point & shoot.

I had to get there the first day at 7:45AM. Ever been to the park that early? Me either.

Photobucket
Clements was already there, of course.

My boss for the weekend texted me and said they were starting at 9 instead of 8. I was accidentally like an hour and 15 minutes early. So I went down the street to the hood store. And hung out with this dude in back.

Photobucket
8am? Not too early for a Natty LIGHT.

Photobucket
Eventually the posse rolled in. Seems like Scotty had too much fun the night before. Guess what's in that trash can?

Photobucket
I want to think Schaefer always shows up to the park at 8AM and skates vert padless.

Photobucket
Hell yeah, Mike Rogers was there.

Photobucket
I couldn't leave the booth, so my friends had to come visit me. Thanks Jake.

Photobucket
This dog made my day. I mean, come on. Look at him!

Photobucket
Buggica came by too. Made up for him not skating with me the following Monday because he decided to go on a trip with another photographer. Ouch.

Photobucket
I don't know how old Jordan Price is, but he's the youngest vert ripper basically. He has a backyard vert ramp. I miss seeing him around Daytona, but not enough to live out there again. Ha.

Photobucket
If you see Ian Gow around, go look at his beard up close. It's intense.

Photobucket
Coleman!

Photobucket
Big Al! I told him there was a Thin Lizzy cover band opening for Ghostface & Raekwon that night and he goes "Seriously? That's pretty sick!" It bummed me out to tell him the truth.

Photobucket
Shane came by the booth.

Photobucket
Trife posse.

Photobucket
Carleton Curtis. He used to be the Editor-In-Chief of Strength Magazine, basically my favorite skate mag that isn't around anymore. He now does website content for Fuel TV.

Photobucket
I love the nightlife. Shaqueefa posse.

Photobucket
Next day, Rob was feeling the vibes too.

Photobucket
Since Vern wished me a happy birthday the other day, I'm going to buy him a Tampa Rays jersey for his.

Training Play.

Driving back from Lakeland yesterday I saw a stopped train in the tracks and pulled over to see if I could get urban and shoot some graffiti photos.

Did I? Not really.

As I was leaving this dude came to shoot photos. I high fived him for keeping it nerdy like me.
